JackpotDesk is a free browser tool at jackpotdesk.com. We do not require an account. Pool names, members, and tickets are stored in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to JackpotDesk servers.
Data that stays on your device
- Pool name, members, shares, paid flags, and tickets.
- Numbers you type (jackpot, tax, prize override).
- Install-hint dismissal and similar UI flags.
Data loaded in the browser
- Official drawing history from New York State Open Data.
- Advertised jackpot and cash value from the California Lottery’s public draw feed (same national prize).
Those third parties see a normal web request from your browser (IP address, user agent). JackpotDesk does not receive a copy of your pool from those calls.
Share links
If you copy a pool share link, the board is encoded in the URL. Anyone you send it to can load that snapshot. Do not put secrets in member names.
Analytics and hosting
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, which tabs people use, and which channels send traffic. Google may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, and referring site. See Google’s privacy policy. You can limit this with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not send pool names, ticket numbers, or share-link contents to Google.
GitHub Pages, which hosts this site, may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) as part of operating the service.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and lottery play has a higher legal age.
